Minibeasts – Spoon Bugs!

Making these creepy crawlies allow children to experience a variety of crafting materials and techniques while learning about the features of beetles.
-
- step 1-roll air-drying modelling clay into a ball

- step 2 -push it into the head of a spoon
-
- step 3 – cut 3 cotton buds in half
-
- step 4 – push three into each side to look like insect legs
-
- step 5 – when dry remove from the spoon
-
- step 6 – decorate your bug!
